Silks Palace restaurant is now offering dinnertime special
with extended opening hours
Having a unique location at a museum that is home to one of the foremost collections of Chinese art and objects in the world, Silks Palace emphasizes on providing a platform through which the greatness of various styles of Chinese cuisine can be exhibited to the world at reasonable prices. With the extended opening hours (until 6:30pm) of the museum, Silks Palace Restaurant presents a dinner special beginning from January 1st to June 30th, 2011, Monday to Friday, guests can receive 10% off by dining at the first floor restaurant simply by showing tickets for visiting the National Palace Museum of the day.
Ever since the grand opening of Silk Palace in the National Palace Museum in June 2008, the restaurant has received many compliments from people around the world. During the same year, the Imperial Treasures Feast featuring dishes resembling items from National Palace Museum’s signature collections was praised by Newsweek magazine saying “It gives a whole new meaning to the concept of a museum restaurant”. More than 10,000 people had ordered the Imperial Feast during their visits at the National Palace Museum. The restaurant has become a popular dining location for travelers who visit the National Palace Museum.
